Ugly Mug Coffee

Here is my design for packaging design class I'm taking this semester. The client is Ugly Mug Coffee. Their current design is bold and focused on typography. For my project, i decided to create a new products called "Aroma Coffee," that could be more illustration centered design. This "Aroma Coffee" is more for relaxing instead of for punching your face and waking you up. Now, their current fans can also have a relaxing time with their favorite coffee brand :)

パッケージデザインのクラスで作った私の作品です。

テネシー州にあるUgly Mug Coffeeがクライアント、という設定でした。彼らのパッケージはタイポグラフィーと写真中心でコミカルだけどヘビーなデザインです。朝から元気にやってくぞ！という感じなので、私は今回のプロジェクトでは違う路線のアロマコーヒーシリーズを作って、午後のカフェタイムに合うようなデザインにすることにしました。現在のお客さんにも受け入れてもらえるよう、タイポグラフィーの要素も残しながら、イラストレーションに重点を置いたデザインです。
